Vivitar goes bust
My Vivitar broke after ony 3 months of use. It was under warrenty, so was returned. After 6 weeks of silence I discovered that Vivitar have gone into recievership and I couldnt get my camera back. So dont buy a Vivitar.

poor quality, high price
i was sold one of these from argos and wish i never did the first lasted three weeks before the camera lens cover stopped working and the replaement one did not evan work out of the box, thr thrid has lasted four months and there is no way of exchanging it so what was a christmas present is now a hated piece of junk, evan when it did work it is so power hungry that batteries lasted hours not days and when video ing the batteries ran out before the memory card, if i was to buy another camera which i will it will never be a vivitar again
