Vivitar 8010 A very disappointing camera
I bought a Vivitar 8010 because I wanted some good photos of my grandsons 18th Birthday, I went for this camera because I had bought Vivitar previously and this being an 8 mega pixel I expected it to be better than my 5.0 mega pixel camera.
To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The pictures were very blurry and it was virtually impossible to tell who was in the photos. Even the image on the camera screen was blurry.The only way that you could get any type of image was to make sure that the camera was perfectly still. I wrote to Vivitar on 25th August 2008 and enclosed some of the photos, but they haven't even acknowledged my correspondence.
On my experience of this model I wouldn't want to recommend it at all, although my Vivitar 3935 is still taking reasonably good photos

worth what i paid for it
this camera is good for only one thing - nights out. i never want to take my expensive camera with me, and this does what i bought it for. however, if you're looking for a good flash, this is not the camera for you. when i managed to figure out how to use it (the instructions are useless) the flash is blinding. however, for £50, i cant really complain

rubbish! dnt buy it!
recieved the camera in a damaged box so wasnt good to start off! when i opend the box the camera was broke and their was no button there it was all falling apart! e.com cameras are the worst company to buy the camera off they were rude and disgusting to me and i had to wait a month for a refund! I assure u u shud not buy this item! it may be cheap bt its a lode of rubbish. My friend got the same camera in pink and her camera doesnt even take clear pictures and the use of the modes and picture effects is disgusting! i would say this camera was 3 megapixel nt 8! please please please dont buy this item! i have bought lodes of items of here im a regular buyer bt i wud never buy a vivitar and would advise you not to buy this camera!
