Amazing underwater all in one!
i bought one of these for my holiday and ive got to say it is brilliant as a basic underwater camera (i.e not a professional housed one). It has the capability to video and take pictures and although it was in the red sea i tested it, the images came out amazing for what it is and the cost. I would definately recommend this to anyone as a simple to use, underwater camera. Well done Vivitar.

Very disappointed
We bought this for my 5 year old son. The rubber case is sturdy, and picture quality average.
The camera soon developed a fault however, and started shutting itself down after every photograph without you knowing. We sent it back and got a refund.
We then bought the exact same camera again from ebay, and the new camera had exactly the same fault!
Avoid.

Very disappointing.
I have'nt used this camera underwater yet but the images taken from dry land are very blurred and disappointing. I'm wondering if the camera is only meant to work underwater! We also have a Kodak easyshare which produces much much better results. In two minds about whether to ask for a refund or take it for our trip to the Red Sea to try it out underwater. Shame the kodak doesn't work underwater.
