With the latest drivers you just run the Voip Voice Software and it auto starts SKYPE, then you just need to check your Audio Settings in Skype and Windows Volume Control, do a test call and your away. This particular USB hard wired Skype phone works very well, with very good sound quality, and no echoing or bounce back, has an exclusive SKYPE button to scroll through Skypes Tabs, Power LED, Blue Answer Phone, Call Recieved Flashes the same Blue Bar LED on the top of the phone, supplied in a tough black plastic case with a standard MINI USB to USB lead that all fits inside. Software Disc. Uses Microsofts Voice Engine to tell you Answer Phone status. Brilliant reliable for the price! No batteries needed! Have used it on freinds Skype without the Voip Voice software and it worked fine on newer XP installs, Not tested on Vista.

This phone is excellent value for money. Software easy to install and the phone's clarity is as good as normal landlines. Fantastic service from supplier DST (UK) Ltd; really quick delivery via Royal Mail and well packaged.

NOT Vista-compatible
Just thought that this needed a little mention here.Because there was no mention of this in either the manufacturer's description or any of the reviews,i went ahead and ordered this, only to find that a) the cd would not install b)phone obviously won't work without it. On calling the supplier(DST)they confirmed that the phone was not vista-compatible,and so I have had to return the phone to them and am waiting a replacement(promised to be vista compatible)phone. ....remind me..how long has Vista been out now???
