A good book for all tattoo enthusiasts
This is a very good book for professionals, enthusiasts and body art collectors. There is a multilingual introductiion to the book, which refers to the history of tattooing from earlier times until today, from the Maoris, to prison tattoos to modern tattoing techniques.
The book is also separated into sections, from tribal tattoing to artists' sketches from the beginning of the 20th century onwards,to japanese tattoing techniques, and one can easily spot the chronological development of tattoing until more recent times.
The layout of the book, is very attractive, and I was particularly impressed by the cover design. The book is also beautifully edited.
I would not give this book a 5 star rating though because when I bought it, I hoped that it would have more references and pictures on more recent developments on tattoing and more cutting edge designs from today's best artists
