The Sidecars attracted one of the strongest entries of recent years. While 13-times winner Dave Molyneux was an obvious favourite for victory, fellow Manxman Nick Crowe, the lap record holder, was out to make up for the disappointment of 2007. Plus, the line-up for 2008 was due to include the three-times World Champion crew of Tim Reeves and Patrick Farrance. As if the action on the course wasn't enough, there was plenty for fans to enjoy of the track, including a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Ducati's TT debut - which included a star-studded parade lap - and commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the glorious TT return of Mike "The Bike" Hailwood. Fantastic Spectacle
I have many of these Duke TT reviews and the 2008 version lives up to their normal high standard of providing a compelling record of the most spectacular motorsport event in the world. I have been to the TT several times, including 2008 - but the Duke video was still first on my Christmas list! Lots of cameras in the best locations and the excellent commentary team of Keith Heuwen and Richard Nichols make the video almost as good as being there (and a lot cheaper)!
