I f you own a dog this book is a life saver!!
Having continuosly searched for a b & b that took dogs, this book turned out to be a real gem. It covers cheap and cheerful guest houses, to more plush country house hotels, and there's even a section on narrow boats!! The book also covers holidays with horses, dog friendly pubs, and a nice section about taking your dog abroad.
The book is well set out in alphabetic order of counties, so you don't have to trawl through hundereds of pages to find the right area. They also have a very good symbol system, that tells the reader if the accomodation charges for pets, if there are any special provisions, or even if there is seperate accomodation for your dog.

excelent book for taking your pets on holiday with you i have just returned from a few days holiday in the lake district taking my 2 dogs with me it lists hotels and guest houses from as far as devon up to scotland with prices maps and a detailed description of the hotels recomended

Very Poor
This book is just a list of adverts that appeard in the original magazine. They do not tell you anything about the premises. No price guide, nothing on facilities, food, area or transport links. No effort at all has gone into writing this book it is next to useless.
Don't waste your money use the web instead.
