Product Description

Concentrating upon her family and their life in Holland before the war, this inspiring and revealing book describes in moving detail living above the family watch shop in Harlem and her memories of the family together before their lives changed for ever with the advent of war and persecution.

Corrie believed that this life helped prepare them for carrying out God's work later and gave her the strength to survive the war, brutal hardship and persecution and begin her worldwide ministry.

This much loved book is being re-issued in B format with a contemporary cover.

Customer Reviews

"Faith is more about nestling than wrestling"5
The beautiful story of Corrie Ten Boom's childhood showing a family living through a period of hardship sharing their life and faith with those God sends them. God's gentle supporting hand can be felt through all their trials as they rely on his provision and care and not on their own strength.

Full of lessons from the life of someone whose was a triumph of faith, without hipocracy. This is especially helpful for those who feel they are too tired to fight.
