Plain and simple indeed
This is a fine guide for finding out what Access can do and how to find your way around it. The explanations stop, though, as soon as the user would be required to let go on the mouse and reach for the keyboard. Just at the point where the most help is required, this book gets vague - "Type the expression for ...", for example, without any help about how that's done.
The author's had to draw a line somewhere, but I would have been happier with a little more depth. That said, it's well laid out and a good starting point.
