excellent - if they actually bother to read it4
I got this for my Dad who claims that he knows what, where and how to use his computer. I knew otherwise, and thought that this book might form a point of reference for him. Does he bother looking at it though? Heck no ! He already knows it all !! So yes, this is a brilliant book for seniors, but getting the know it all ones to read it - now that's a different matter !
Has he learnt ? - My husband got a call from my father asking what this Internet Explorer thing was on his desktop. It wasn't there before (yes it was) and he doesn't use it ( yes he does) and should he delete it ( erm... no )After 15 minutes of trying to explain that he DOES use it and that it was nothing new, they agreed to just leave it were it was, ignore it, and know that it was nothing harmful.... my husband, I swear, had bald patches on his head and tears in his eyes at the end of that conversation !
