Excellent update for what was a good book already
At 773 pages this is a real heavy weight reference book for the Exchange professional, and definitely not a bed time read for those new to back office administration.
Exchange 2007, being 64 bit, requires a whole new install rather than an upgrade and this is the book to take you through that challenge
The book follows the well trodden path of covering Planning. Deployment. Management and maintenance, with regard to all the different Exchange roles now available.

As design in Exchange 2007 is criticalm much time is spent on integration to Active Directory and Windows 2003. With Exchange 2007 SP1 come the ability to run on Windows 2008, and this administrator's companion 2nd edition is fully updated to take account of the integration opportunities that come with Windows 2008, such as IPv.6 All Microsoft products now have security built in and it comes as no surprise that the integration with Microsoft Forefront is examined in detail. In total there are four chapters on Exchange security and this is really one of the main thrusts of the book/.
Unsurprisingly support for Outlook and Outlook Web Access is well covered. However even UNIX and Macintosh clients are examined, as well as integration with ISA server.

A good reference that every Exchange administrator should have on their bookshelf,close to hand.
