Irefutable Scientific Proof that Neo-darwinism is a religion5
Wells carefully and systematically dismantles the icons of every evolutionary text-book with startling ease and accuracy, quoting many published scientific research papers from non-theistic and evolutionary scientists in the process, showing that this is not a 'Creationist' vs 'Evolutionist' argument as the Neo-darwinsit cabal love to say, but really a call to truth and a return to proper Science.

Wells does not rubbish Darwin, rather he applauds his great work, his scientific honesty and sincere and honest mistakes, often showing how modern-day neo-darwinists mis-quote and mis-use his work to justify their untenable positions. Welsl says rightly that honest and true science seeks TRUTH and not ideology - it should certainly not defend icons that are known to be proven false or misleading. However as becomes apparrent as you wade through the clearly presented evidence, Ideology is what neo-darwinism has become, witnessed too by the rabid ranting of its adherents when there ideology is threatened by uncomfortable but irefutable facts. Thsi is because the Theory has become more important than the truth, and is no longer founded on proper scientific methods or facts.

Contrary to one review on here, Wells emphatically does NOT reject natural Selection, nor do any I know who support doubt neo-darwinsim. Natural Selection as Wells clearly says is an observable fact within species. Wells however clearly shows how Darwins own tests for the validity of his theory hav ebeen failed in that Natural selection is clearly not the mechanism behind all origins and that it does not support the theory of a Common Anscestry for all life i.e. macro-evolution.

Wells makes a brilliant case against the ICONS and we should ALL be outraged that they are still being used in SCHOOL text-books anywhere. You only have to look at people like Dawkins to see that Evolution, once a true scientific theory has been hi-jacked by Atheistic ideologists who care little for Scientific Truth. We must not be afraid of the Truth no matter how uncomfortable it is, or where it leads.

I recommend this book to anyone. Unlike Behe's brilliant book 'Darwins Black Box', it is far more accessible to non-scientists, easy to read, very direct and to the point, never over-playing its hand, always informative, well-researched, and enjoyable. However, as one reviewer says on here, be prepared to be ANGRY, because Wells shows very clearly that there is a deliberate policy out there to supress the truth and to teach lies. As Moulder and Skully used to say - THE TRUTH is OUT THERE !

May Wells and others keep fighting for the re-establishment of true Science, Truth and Honesty.

Evolution's nemesis5
This book is an excellent academic critique of neo-Darwinian theories; painstakingly researched and incisive. It is little wonder that those who appear to be committed to a belief in Evolution, like Stephen A. Haines, are inclined, with what often seems to be a more than a religious fervour, to try to discredit, with generalised misquotations of the text, this powerful challenge to orthodox Darwinian beliefs.

Any objective reader of this book cannot fail to be impressed by the examples of serious doubts about the scientific methods employed by evolutionists to support a belief system against all contrary evidence. This is not a book for the faint-hearted evolutionist who desires to maintain a faith in a theory that is increasingly plagued by doubts, falsification and misinformation.

Instructive!5
Dr Wells sets out to describe how students and the public are being systematically misinformed about the evidence for evolution. As a chemist, I found the chapter on the so called Miller-Urey experiment, purporting to show how life might have begun, to be particularly interesting. For more than a decade it is generally accepted among geochemists that the experiment failed to simulate conditions on the early Earth, and thus this laboratory experiment has no relevance to the origin of life. Regardless, it is still used in many textbooks, magazines and TV-documentaries as an icon for evolution.
Going through the list (including Darwin's finches, the peppered moths etc), it all boils down to an exposure of neo-Darwinism as old-fashioned materialistic philosophy disguised as modern empi-
rical science.
For anyone interested in a scientific scrutiny of the theory of evolution, this book is an excellent starting-point.
