Disappointing
A beautifully illustrated book but gives the impression that this book can be used for the motifs where in reality the copyright notices indicate otherwise. You are encourage to contact the artists for permission to use any of the images before using them which is fair enough, however I contacted several of them and all wanted either a payment to use their work or a percentage if I sold anything that I made and added their artwork to it, this is very misleading from the description. So if you are looking for a book which shows beautiful artwork that really cannot be used then this is one for you, but if you wanted to make use of some of the work then avoid this book unless you want to pay either a high commission to one of the artists or make a large payment to them.

beautiful but disappointing
This is a beautiful book with illistrations from some very talented artists and as a book of works of art is is amazing. I brought the book as a craft source book and as such it is next to useless. It has very detailed copyright retrictions listed. And even though the book discription and introduction seem to encourage the use of the designs at the same time you are requested to contact the artists and make further purchases before doing so. Please dont think that I would endose breach of copyright or wish to defraud the artists involved. This is a beautiful book it just is not a craft sorce book.
