Good value
The headset is easy to use, and comfortably sit across the back of your neck, and not across the top of your head which other sets do. And so dont leave you with a flat patch of hair on your head like other headsets.
Having external Creative speakers myself, the Philips SHM6100/00 PC Headset suit me to a Tee. They might not have volume control on the headset, but I have an external volume control with my Creative speakers, so they are fine for me. So reasonable i bought two pairs.
Brilliant!
I have been using this headset for just over four weeks now and I have completely fallen in love with it. It is perfect, it's really comfortable and sounds great, sometimes when I am engrossed in a game it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing a headset. Countless times I've had to check if my speakers are on and they are not, a lot of the time it feels like the sound is coming from around me not from a headset right next to my ears.
I am a bassist so I naturally love songs with a strong, loud bass guitar, and this headset is excellent for that it can blast out a powerful bass line without a problem and even if you turn the volume all the way up it still sounds superb without any crackling.
I definitely recommend this headset. Spectacular! 5/5!
Simple and sturdy headseat
Fairly comfortable, the sound quality is good and the mic is alright. I use it mostly for skype and so far have the mic seems good.
The material is flexible, it does not look as if it would break easily and the wire is thick enough to avoid external interference - some earphones will "capture" the sound when the wire brushes on something.
I read some people complaining that it does not have volume control or adjustable earphones. But the description never mention it, so I don't know why some are surprised by it.
Good value for your money, fairly simple control.
