Average customer review:
Four heroes, four controllers and a thoroughly good game. But play it on your own and it becomes a yawn on a shiny disc.

Customer Reviews

Great film, bad game2
Seriously, just go & watch the film & forget about this game. Its like 2K (developers of this game) make no effort to capture the films essence. Sure, it contains the Silver Surfer & slapping a few villains to give us players something to do. But to be honest, I would rather them to duplicate the movie action scenarios, that seems more entertaining.

Problems:

1) Since the game uses the movie's name itself, you would think that the cast members would lend their voices to the characters...no. They don't. The only thing they probably allowed was the use of their Fantastic Four promo pics from the 1st film.

2) Graphics are pretty poor compared to other PS3 games. The Thing looks like a plastic toy that a 5 yr old brought from Toys-R-Us. Fair enough if it were for 2nd gen consoles such as the PS2, but the PS3 has so much potential, yet 2K didn't make the us of the systems capabilities.

3) They're liars. Once you boot up the game, you see a graphical Fantasticar, but you never get to use it in the game. It literally brings your hopes up...

4) The chapters/game play are way too short. If you're those mad gamers who are capable of completing Tomb Raider in less than 2 days, this game will be easily completed in matter of hours (3-4 is my estimate)

As much as I like Fantastic Four (the comic, the cartoons & the movies), this by far is the tedius franchise ever marketed with the F4 logo on it...for shame.

Boring, Dull, ZZZZZ2
At first looks it seems good, good graphics, decent voices couple of nice fighting moves, BUT.
Once you get going, you can fall asleep. Levels are long, which, you'd probably think is good but its all the same, kill bad guys, boss, next room repeat until asleep.
They run out of POWER! Could you see that in the movie?

MR FANTASTIC: Quick Johnny, use your flame thingymabob.
HUMAN TORCH: Sorry Reed, I'm out of power, I used it all flying to make this game kind of fun.
MR FANTASTIC: Well you will have to punch the bad guys, oh by the way, watch out for the invisible wall.
HUMAN TORCH: Can't I just fly across to blow up the room.
MR FANTASTIC: No, you have to kill the bad guys until the wall falls down so we can walk on that.
(Screen fades to black, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is inserted in PS3.)
