This is the story of the first seventy years of Rye House speedway and the personalities associated with the track, including Len Silver, who was himself a junior discovery at the track over fifty years ago and now owns the stadium and promotes the speedway. Norman Jacobs is an experienced and respected author who has written many successful speedway titles including Speedway in the South East. He lives in Clacton-on-Sea. For this book he has interviewed a number of past and present Rye House riders and other characters, including legendary promoter Len Silver.
