First thing you should be aware of this book is merely a series of 25 articles reprinted from Land Rover Owner Int. magazine. Haynes themselves describe this as "the definitive guide of where to go in your Land Rover in Britain". 25 articles = 25 routes to cover the whole of the UK, in fact 22 are in England, 1 on Isle of Man and 1 in Ireland, non in Scotland, Wales or N. Ireland, hardly definitive or UK. There are no routes to follow, there is a travelogue on each route and at the back details of which OS map you need, but no specifics.
My advice is if want to know where to go offroading don't buy this book, if you subscribe to LROI mag don't buy this book but if you want to read about other peoples trips offroad then you might just might enjoy this book.
