The definitive guide to Off-Road Vehicle recovery
I have the benefit of having spent some time with the author in the most trying of off-road conditions, and I was staggered by the depth of his knowledge - practical as well as theoretical. we're talking about a guy who buys a new Discovery, cuts up the front bumper and fits a winch - then packs it in a container and sends it to Iceland - where he spends 3 months driving around... I believe his local Land Rover dealer now call him for advice on a regular basis....
This book may tend to be dry reading for those who have no direct interest in the subject matter, but Nick Cole really knows what he is talking about - there is no comparable book on the market that I have found.
