Exploring green lanes in the South hams
A fantastic reference book to take on walks. It makes walks so much more interesting, knowing that you are strolling down paths and tree covered lanes that were in use in medieval times. Good reading too!
South Hams Walker
This book is useful to give ideas for walks but is too regimental. For example, due to the car parking problems in Salcombe it would be nice to pick up the walk at half way so that there is no problem with car parking. If the walk description could be itemised by number at each stage then this would be easier and make walking in the area less of a problem.
