Customer Reviews
Sam Madison, but not as you know her
Over the course of 1 year, Sam Madison has gone from being a artist with an interesting family and balanced life to a cardboard cut out with no personality. All this book says is "Oh my God...does David want to have sex???!!!!" in various different ways with excessive punctuation. It is SO irritating. There are hardly any characters (that have a lot of potential) mentionned in it and nothing really happens. It's just a boring, rambling thought trail of a girl who is too wimpy to talk to her boyfriend properley. Even the 'top ten' lists have become drab.
If you want to read some GOOD work of Meg Cabot's, try the Mediator (a character that -thank goodness- actually has some backbone) or the early princess diaries books.
Meg Cabot's writing standards have really slipped, and it is very disappointing.
Loved this book!!
After reading the hilarious 'All American Girl', I could n't wait to read this. And Meg Cabot certainly didn't let me down! Although not as good as the first one, (I'd give 'All American Girl' 5 stars) it was really great, and you do feel you can relate to the main character, Sam. Loved every minute of reading this. I'd definitley reccommend this to all girls between 13 and 17 years old. Buy it now!
easily as good as the rest
