Definitely worth buying
Since buying this albumn idlewild have become one of my favourite bands. There may be a few weaker tracks on the albumn but the rest is raw, really energetic, great music. Not quite as polished as the fantastic 100 broken windows but when u hear tracks such as "paint nothing" and "when i argue i see shapes" you'll rock out. Fantastic.

Choose something else
Not a good showing for Idlewild. With the possible exception of "Safe and Sound", which by the way you have to wait 10 agonising tracks to hear, the grunge-alternative flavour of this album is anything but tuneful. The 12th and final track, however, slips right back into sub-melodic noise, very reminiscent of Blink 182 in Cheshire Cat - another one to stay well away from. If you've listened to more modern Idlewild albums and liked them, save your money and try something else. And if you accidentally bought this, wash your hands immediately!

Idlewild - The remote part
Well what can I say, an amazing album. Every song is brilliant and widley varied as well. You can choose from really rocky ones to bang your head to, or calm mellowed down tracks to reflect to.
My favoutites tracks would have to be 'a modern way of letting go' very rock really good to take your stress out, and 'the remote part' peacefull and calm with a really good base peice in the middle.
