could this be the best album i heard last year?????
after coming across this album on amazon and listening to the samples it didn't take me long to buy it and once it arrived it stayed in the cd player for weeks. in fact its still there!! its fresh and every track makes you sit up and listen!!! favourite track have to be "sad songs" and "i saw" but there is not much between them and the rest of the album. it resurrected my love of music and with over 300 albums to choose from it is definitely my first choice. well worth a listen you will not be disappointed.
some fireworks
There are 2 or 3 songs on this album that really stand out for me, namely Angel and Weight Of It All. The rest of it, well it sounds very American and contrived, you can take it or leave it. However one thing is consistent, the man has a lyrical talent. These 2 songs are beautiful musically and lyrically
worth it
I'm not going to bother comparing him to anyone, because it ruins it for people no matter who your comparing from who. This is a nice album and if you love acoustic music, buy it. It may not have all acoustic songs on, but the ones it does have, are worth it and some of the other songs aren't that far away from being acoustic anyway.
His voice is nice, not so individual that you either like it or not, but a nice kind of indiviual.

Really nice acoustic, short at about one and a half minutes but it's perfect. It stays on as long as it needs to.
Worst songs...well there aren't any. Sure there are songs i don't like as much, but that's the same with any album, and it's always nice to have some songs on an album that you learn to love. This is very much worth buying if you like acoustic type music and nice lyrics.
