Album Description
A 25th Anniversary special edition of one of punk's innovative and epoch-defining albums. Contains the whole original album remastered with alternate versions of the three singles and the non-album B-Sides. The Ed Hollis mix of `Love Song' has never been released in any form before and check out the `Smash It Up' instrumental track for sing-a-longa karoake fun for all the family, followed by `Smash It Up' Part 4, the Wessex Studio version, never released before. Also included is the impossibly rare Radio Edit 45 version of `I Just Can't Be Happy Today' - never re-issued and for the first time ever on CD; the single version of `Noise Noise Noise', `Burglar' and the `Turkey Song'. As a special bonus, the `Plan 9 Channel 7' video is also featured. Includes a comprehensive sleeve note from Mojo journalist Kieron Tyler, containing plenty of rare memorabilia and fascinating anecdotes from MGE producer Roger Armstrong, who takes us through the recording experience on a track-by-track basis.

Ladies and Gentlemen...How do !5
When it comes to punk albums there's none better, when it comes to daft punk albums then the Damned's Machine Gun Etiquette is special. I now own this album on vinyl, cassette, CD and 25th Anniversary CD, I can't get enough of it. From Love Song launching the album through to Plan 9, Channel 7 and ending with Smash It Up parts 1 and 2 every track is a real classic. I recently saw the Damned live at the Nottm Rock City (my favourite venue) and they played just about every track from Machine Gun Etiquette which highlighted the importance of this album to the band. Once you have heard this you will be hooked, go on buy it and be happy forever.

THE BEST PUNK ALBUM OF ALL TIME .....5
THIS IS THE DAMNEDS SGT PEPPER IF U LIKE RIGHT AT THE TOP OF THERE GAME ..I REMEMBER SWAPPING A MATE AT SCHOOL MY SEX PISTOLS [] LP FOR MGE AND AS 13 YEAR OLD IT TOTALLY BLEW MY MIND I PLAYED IT TO DEATH EVEN AFTER PUNK DIED AND I GOT RID OF ALL MY PUNK LPS I KEPT THIS ONE STILL HAVE IT ON VINYL....THERE WAS AN EARLIER VERSION OF THE ALBUM RELEASED ON CD BUT IT HAD A FEW BONUS TRACKS BUT THIS 25TH ANNIVERSARY IS MEGA GREAT TO HAVE THE EXTRA B-SIDES LIKE BURGLAR ITS STILL MEGA YET.....THIS ALBUM SHOULD BE ONE OF THE ALBUMS YOU HEAR BEFORE U DIE......DOES ANYONE REMEMBER COLLECTING THE LOVE SONG SINGLE WITH THE 4 DIFFRENT PICTURE COVERS AND IN THERE SOMEWHERE WAS A COLLECTIBLE RED VINYL,,,,,,

Good to be back!5
I haven't heard this album for many years until i recently bought it, even though i have owned the original vinyl since it was sold. I didn't realise what i have been missing as this is truely a phenomenal album, so many awesome tracks, Curtain Call is a masterpiece, Plan 9 Channel 7 you can never grow tired of, the extended version of White Rabbit only enhances what is already a great track,Just Can't Be Happy Today, Dr Jeckyl...., History of the...., etc etc etc. I have recently bought The Black Album and was chuffed to bits to be able to hear The Damned again and this has only inspired me to replace all my other punk vinyl records in order to hear all the greats again. Contempory music as we know it is dead today and the reason why i always end up listening to the groups of old.
