'Gang Of Losers' is the third full-length album from Montreal-based epic indie rockers, The Dears. Whereas parts of 'NoCities Left' were ambitious and slightly cinematic in nature, this record is a much more organic, stripped down affair, and this is reflected in the mood and pace of the album, which adds a warmth and depth to their sound without overlooking their influences. Includes the single 'Ticket To Immortality'.

Customer Reviews
Endless pleasure
It doesn't seem to matter how many times I listen to this album, I can't believe I will ever get bored of it. Every track is a classic in itself and it just leaves you wanting more (which is probably why its so easy to listen to over and over again).
If you don't own this album, you have to buy it now.
Great second album
I really enjoyed parts of the first album (No Cities Left), particularly 'Lost in the Plot' but I felt that overall it did'nt quite deliver for me. This new album is just awesome. The first track that I really got into was 'Ticket to Immortality' which I love. I listened to it over and over and can still make time for it now, weeks later. The rest of the album took about four or five listens and then it all fell into place. I highly recommend this album.
Album of the year
There really is no question that this is the album of the year. In typical Dears' fashion you get the melodramatic vocals of Murray Lightburn which perfectly compliments the indie-pop band. "You and I are a gang of losers" displays a beautiful male/female vocal sequence, with the two repeating a form of "you and I... we've got the same heart" as the chorus. "Ballad Of Humankindness" stands out as their best track on this disc. It preaches the disheartening reality that people live on the streets, "I can't believe the vast amount of people living on the streets / I can't believe I was one of those men that almost died". Pick this one up!
