Product Description

Beyonce had little to prove on her second solo outing, B'DAY, having already demonstrated her taste, (solo) vocal prowess, and sparkling star quality on her first post-Destiny's Child release in 2003. Nevertheless, the singer and her crackteam of producers and collaborators (R&B's finest, including the Neptunes, Swizz Beats, and Rich Harrison) have come upwith a collection that's at least equal to her previous triumphs, and that shows off an almost angry intensity only hinted at on earlier releases.

Delux edition even better than the original5
I loved the original b'day, but this delux edition is even better. Right let's get into the tracks
Beautiful liar feat shakira- We all know this song, a bit boring now though
Irreplaceable-Still love this song even a year later
Green light-I liked this song before it was released, after it was released i got bored of it
Kitty kat-I really like this track,i wish on the dvd there was a full length video
Welcome to hollywood feat jay-z- This was on jay-z's kingdom album feat beyonce written by ne-yo,but now it has been put on her album with her showing off her rapping skills
Upgrade you feat jay-z- This tune is sick, the video is good as well
Flaws and all- A lovely heartfelt song about how Jay-z loves her even with her flaws
If- This track was written and co-produced by the multi-talented ne-yo, anway i love this track, beyonce's vocals are amazing on this
Get me bodied- I do really like this song but sometimes it seems 2 go on forever
Freakum dress-I love this song a great club banger
Suga mama- Another favourite track of mine, nice video as well
Deja vu feat Jay-z-I still love this song, even though when it came out everyone hated it but not me
Ring the alarm- This was meant 2 be the second single, but everyone hated it, but i think this track is fire
Resentment- I love, love this track, again shows off her amazing vocal skills
Listen- A lovely ballad
World wide woman- This track is fire
Check on it-I liked this song when i first heard on destiny's child's greatest hits, but this isn't one of my favourite tracks, i normally skip this track
Amor gitano feat alejandro- Even though this song i don't understand what they are singing, the beat is really good and her vocals are really good even singing in spanish
Beautiful liar remix- I swear there is no difference between this track and the one that was released.

YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR COLLECTION NOW

way betta than ms kelly5

Still B'day, But Even Better.5
I think this really is a fantastic album, full of strong balladry and great upbeat dance tracks. The deluxe version contains 7 new songs, and for the first time in artist history a music video DVD, which i must point out is also superb, and all the music videos have had time, effort and money spent on them, so that they appear that good.

The songs well, my favourites are `Freakum Dress', this is one of those female liberation songs, it has a bangin beat, `Get Me Bodied' i really don't care that the song is over 6 minutes long it's still brilliant, it kind of has a 60's heritage, the instructional parts in the second half really give that away and when you hear it you'll want to get involved,' Flaws And All' boring huh, i don't think so an emotional ballad about someone loving someone even if they are not perfect, and i was quite surprised that Beyonce of all people would write or sing a song about this, `Kitty Kat' this song is flirty, silky and sexy, `Welcome To Hollywood' explains the dangers of being rich & famous and she even lists some of the ultra- famous people who have dyed from too much fame, in my opinion the song should of been on the original, `Suga Mama' a throwback song to a specific era of music, really love the grittiness of it, `Déjà Vu' this song is ace, it builds up to an eventual crescendo and i just can't keep still when this is playing, `Upgrade U' compared to most of the album, a very much contempory R&B song with Jay- Z rapping half way though, influencing us to all upgrade our partners,`Ring The Album' Beyonce uses powerful vocals throughout this song, to talk about an ex-lover who has found someone else, `Resentment' was a really good song Beyonce again uses powerful vocals, really pours her heart and soul into this song, and you can tell she's feeling it, some more power vocal balladry from the smash hit `Dreamgirls' song `Listen', the crashing `Green Light', the perfect duet `Beautiful Liar', beautiful song more like, with it's obvious eastern influences, the slighly haunting 'If', `Check On It', it's got a nice melody, nice beat and finally, `World Wide Woman' basically talking about a very well known woman, and being able to log on anytime you like, hence the lyrics, 'I'm a world wide woman www you can log on anywhere..'

On this album we have seen a much different side to Beyonce appearing, she tells us she's not perfect even though she may look it on the outside, she also deals with issues such as drug addictions, (`Welcome To Hollywood`), and finally she talks about that even she may be upstaged sometimes, (`Resentment`), of course its a must have for any Beyonce fan, but the most important reason for buying this album is to discover who Beyonce really is, past the outer beauty and the incredible voice.
