What a delight. The regional recipes along with the artistic illustrations and 'hand written' text give the reader a very personal view of the author's culinary and travel experiences in Provence making this a book I have read over and over.Be warned,the fortified orange wine(p143)will mellow any Christmas Scrooge-it's good stuff.

I bought this book after having bought "A Table in Tuscany" which I found excellent with its illustrations. This book on Provence is based on a simular theme and is just as excellent. Its refreshing with it's illustrations and great recipes and local information including different restaurants. Authentic Provence cooking with some lovely recipes.
