A most pleasant reading
I really enjoy reading ever year "Malt Whisky 2009". The layout is very nice, content most interesting and all sections are rewritten every year. The first section includes a selection of articles written by the best experts in the field and provides a fresh and interesting overview in the whisky world in the past year. The distillery guide is exhaustive and I can only recommend this book.
Of note, this book is not a introductory book about whisky, but it is suitable for anyone with some basic whisky knowledge.

Good buy for this year
I'm only new to single malt whisky and actually bought this as a gift for a friend. They liked it so maybe, as I get more of a taste for whisky, I'll buy another for myself next year.
