well pleased
after a bit of research I decided to buy LCD over plasma as the lounge faces south and the sun shines (when it does) right where the telly would sit. I understand that LCD is slightly better than plasma at dealing with this. The 52XV was a good price from amazon and we have now had the telly for a week and we are all delighted with the picture. The sound took a bit of tinkering with but now its fine and the picture is so good that we aren't going to bother with HD
