`There's more than a touch of fairytale about Cecelia Ahern's novels...
thanks to a liberal sprinking of magic.'

"brilliant...beautifully bittersweet"

Synopsis
The magical new novel from the number 1 bestselling author of PS, I Love You, Where Rainbows End and If You Could See Me Now. Ever since the day her classmate Jenny-May Butler vanished, Sandy Shortt has been haunted by what happens when something - or someone - disappears. Finding has become her goal. Jack Ruttle is desperate to find his younger brother Donal who vanished into thin air a year ago. So then he spots an ad for Sandy's missing persons agency, he's certain that she will answer his prayers and find his missing brother. But then Sandy disappears too, stumbling upon a place that is a world away from the only one she has ever known. Now all she wants, more than anything, is to find her way home.

Customer Reviews

Imaginative and beautiful5
If you have no imagination, don't bother with this book. You probably won't like it. Personally, I loved it. The heroine comes across the place where lost things and people go; it's a wonderfully developed idea and I fell in love with Ahern's books as a result of this novel. She writes with succint and moving prose, her characters are well defined and fascinating. It's like a child's fairy tale for grown ups.

Confusing3
Enjoyed the book, but took ages to get into it and at some points I found myself confused as to what was happening!! Only really got into the book when I had figured out what was happening and nearer the end.

Thought Provoking5
This was one of the best books I have read in a long time. I can't believe the amount of people who didn't like it. It really keeps you guessing till the end and for anyone who has ever lost a loved one it begs the question "is there really life after death"?? Sometimes you really do have to think 'outside of the box'! Brilliant.
