Product Description

Aiming to link the emotional and legal aspects of divorce without becoming weighed down by either psychological or legal jargon, this book begins with an analysis of the divorce process in seven stages: breakdown, shock, anger, pain, hatred, grief and acceptance. It then describes the legal process and how to negotiate it: solicitors, costs, first moves, finances, housing, types of orders, mediation, procedures and courts. Case studies are presented to illustrate particular experiences common to many marriage crises, and a list of relevant addresses and telephone numbers is provided.

Think you want a divorce? Read this book!5
Divorce thrown upon me,I had no idea what to think and no understanding of my actions or emotions. This book showed me how to get on my feet without feeling wobbly plus enabled me to see the light.I felt safe relying on a book written by an experienced soliciter.I am still in the process of divorce and at every step I consult this "oracle"

It is a MUST for anyone who wants a separation/divorce.5
The author puts it so clear and easy to understand, step by step, from emotional to legal aspects especiall with children concerns. I read this book to understand my beloved friend as how he has to go through the difficult time along the process the British way. I wish I had a chance to read it when I had to go through it myself some 10 years ago. The author is right in every way that all, any nationalities, culture, men and women alike, are to go through the difficulty of 7 emotional stages. She is also right about there is a fresh new life after separation/divorce.

Breaking Up Is Hard To Do...5
This book will be a friend and ally to anyone walking through the minefield of divorce, separation and wondering who gets custody of the wok. What makes it so special is that it is a work that gives equal weight to your legal rights and your aching heart - and that's what makes it such an easy work to love, cherish, honour and obey. Brilliant.
