Customer Reviews

Well worth it!4
I bought a pair of these in white in April, and they lasted me a good 4 or 5 months of solid useage. The sound quality from these is pretty good, although it does take a bit of getting used to if coming from regular earphones. The bass is powerful, and distortion (on heavier metal tracks) stays tight when it needs to be, and demonic when it has to be. It keeps unwanted sounds out very effectively, and is very hard for others around you to hear, even when at max volume.

My only gripe I have with these is that I have lost one of the squidgy earpieces for the only two sizes that fit my ears, and without replacements available, it renders them virtually useless. The holding on these pieces was very good for a while, but it eventually succumbed to wear-and-tear and they would occasionally fall off in my pocket. Although, I do put losing the pieces down to my own fault, so don't let it put you off too much.

Well worth it, especially for the price here! You won't regret this purchase, although you will never be able to go back to ordinary earphones, as I have recently discovered!

Excellent sound quality5
blocks out everything around me, best item to get away from family.lol. easy storage box. Cheap and sound quality is great. Get three different plugs to get your best fit.

If you are a bass lover you would love this product.

Comfortable but lacking in sound quality4
I have a pair of Sennhieser CX300's and I prefer their sound quality over these ones. The wires on the FX66's are of equal length which was another downside compared to the CX300's for me as I liked to wrap one of the wires around the back of my neck. However, I find these to be a lot more comfortable and the build quality is decent (my CX300's Left speaker broke on me and the buds kept slipping out of my ears). What I like about these compared to the CX300's are the less rubberised wires causing less "cable noise" and wind feedback, also you can run around with these on and yet they still stay completely secure in your ears, unlike the CX300's. CX300's I thought played the highs and mids more clearly and the instruments were well defined compared to the FX66's. With these however, when you listen to something with lots going on e.g. rock music, it's difficult to pick out the individual instruments such as drumming, which is sort of "downgraded" to make use of the other instruments such as guitars. I think the music sounds quite "muddy" - in other words, not very clear.

CX300's for the sound quality (and perhaps the looks if you're into that).
These for the comfortability and build quality.

Because of the lack-lustre sound quality these get a 4/5
