Customer Reviews

This frame is outstanding5
Don't believe the reviews above! This frame is very intuitive and easy to set up, including the wireless part - it really is easy to use with very straightforward menus and simple buttons. It streams photos from the web really well (via RSS feeds) and you can even plug USB memory sticks or pen drives in the back so that your cards can stay in your camera. Try a website called Framechannel to add photos or even e-mail your frame from on holiday. The quality of the frame is excellent and AMAZINGLY if you turn the frame to portrait (or landscape) the photos turn automatically to the correct orientation just like the iPhone!!! This isn't documented anywhere! Highly recommended.

Still long way behind the competition2
Clearly Samsung wanted to Jump in to the digital photo frame category
and they have done it with haste. As pointed out by another reviewer
the frame only supports Photo's. It doesn't play music or video.

I was disappointed with the price for a 7 inch screen, taken that it is
Samsung but I find it hard to digest.

It lacks many a features with the latest competitors are offering.

If you are looking for feature rich but with high quality screen, this
is my top picks

VARNAM - Touch sensitive buttons, Has built-in battery and memory. 8
inch screen, high resolution 800x480, also plays music and Video
Philips - 8 inch but screen resolution is 640x480, comes with built-in
battery
Samsung - 7 inch - high price for a smaller screen and limited features
Kodak - 8 inch - good quality screen, no battery
Linx - choose this only if you are on a budget - screen quality is
good, comes with battery but actual display area is only 7 inch or so,
not easy to operate

Total waste of money1
Don't buy it. What a useless piece of rubbish. I've spent an entire afternoon trying to get the wifi part to work and it still doesn't. It requires you to install numerous programmes on your pc, create an msn account, change your security settings... and to be able to get your photo frame to see your web photos you need to change the web space settings so that anyone can see your page. And then it still doesn't work!!! I've never come across such a poor instruction manual and so little support for something that is supposed to be a plug and play. I bought this as a xmas present for my parents but there's absolutely no way they'll be able to use it. What a disappointment. The reason I chose it was for the wifi function, thinking we would be able to upload photos onto a website from anywhere in the world and the photo would appear on the frame. At the moment I've got as far as being able to see the msn page I created, but then it just says 'no feeds'. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Definitely the last time I buy a Samsung product.
Oh, and when it arrived from Amazon the seal on the box was broken. I should have known it was a bad sign...
