Wait for Sega Bass Fishing1
This looked promising but is extremely poorly executed and rather dull. Sega Bass Fishing is due out soon so I've advise waiting for that.

A bit of fun for a few minutes, then you will get bored.2
I bought this game and the rod for the Wii. I have reviewed the rod and it is not a positive review. Sadly the game review is not going to be much better.

The game, as you would imagine, is pretty basic. You pick where you want to fish, cast, reel in and hope for the best. You can change the lures to increase your chances of catching a fish, but there is not much more to it than that. Once you find a spot where there are fish, it is just a matter of trying different lures in different colours until one bites. Then you reel it in a hope for the best. Sometimes the hook falls out, sometimes the line breaks. There is very little skill to the game and after a few levels doing the exact same thing over and over again, no amount of catching big fish is going to make this game exciting or fun.

I remember playing this on the dreamcast and thinking it was great fun. Perhaps I am just more mature or the game itself is not as good.

Either way I would not waste money on buying this game and whatever you do, if you do buy the game don't bother with the rod.

not bad2
the game was ok but got boring after a while as you are doing the same thing all the time
