A true companion to the deck!
Having used the Hanson-Roberts deck for a number of years, I found this book to be a good summary of the deck. It's a great reference book for those learning the H.-R. deck. It's personally given me a fresh approach to an old friend. Though it only summarises the approach to reading the tarot itself, it does answer a few questions the beginner might ask. As well as throwing in some brief tarot history in the beginning! I would emphasize that it is more a reference book than anything, however I personally enjoy the book and shall have it on hand for those moments when I just want to refresh a thing or two!
