overrated but effective3
Having never used an epilator before, and hating waxing, i opted for this model for the ice pack. What a waste of time! The process is far easier without it-yeah,it hurts at first, but you can go at your own speed - as long as you keep the skin taught it's not too bad.The ice pack is very bulky, when it's frozen it sticks to your skin and when it thaws (which is quickly due to the heat from the epilator)it just gets in the way. It's also not as close as shaving for the first few times, but it does get better, you just have to persevere.

it's not good but not bad2
it's quite scary when u first use it (i still darn't let it go anywhere near my bikni line though!!!!)but the pain isn't so bad after a few months. the ice pack does reduce the pain, but it melts really quickly so it usually takes me two nights to do both legs. it does get rid of the hair for a longer time than shaving + buffing etc, but it's only 2 weeks until i have to use it again, not the 4 it sed it would! there are always small hairs left over which are really annoying, so it never really gets your legs as smooth as you might think. I prefur it to shaving as it isn't as much of a drag to do every few days, so you have more time on your hands. hope this helps :)

Definitely worth it.4
This is the second epilator I have owned. I bought this one in January after my old one broke after about ten years! In my opinion epilators are worth their weight in gold. They work like little tweezers pulling the hair out at the roots, like waking does. My legs, underarms etc are now usually hair free for about 6 weeks at a time and a lot of the hairs don't even grow back anymore. I admit that it is painful at first but this one is excellent as the ice pack attachment minimises the painful affects. My advice is to persevere with it as the pain diminishes over time and the results are worth it.
