Not the best bikini line product by a long way...
The Remington BKT100 Bikini Trimmer is a neat looking trimmer which comes with a handy silver pouch and is small enough to be able to carry with you easily if you need to take it on holiday. (It won't take up a lot of room in your suitcase!).
The main reason we will buy it however is to make the whole proces of hair removal around the bikini line faster, easier and generally fuss free. Sadly on this score this product was a big let down. It's one of several products of this type which have started filtering onto the market and seems to have been pretty poorly designed and rush manufactured to get into market and the major sales share first.
The head could do with being a little narrower in design - it isn't much smaller than a conventional ladyshave head - which would help to facilitate it actually living up to it's promotional hype of 'being ideal for today's modern styles'.
The design is fine for general 'trimming' however for shaping and getting v close to the skin this product fails abysmally to live up to it's hype.
The shave head does not allow for a very close shave of the area, so you are left with rough areas which don't look or feel great.
useful timesaving gadget
This product helps you keep the bikini area tidy and trimmed and saves a lot of time and hassle. You can tidy up the area in just a couple of minutes! I would however have expected the lowest setting to give a brazilian effect so that was a little disappointing. As it is I think I will only use settings 1 and 2 (there are 5 in total). I don't regret buying this but will keep an eye out for a trimmer that gives a very close shave as well.
Excellent buy!
This product is excellent especially for those starting out and especially if your skin is particulary sensitive. Can I just say in response to another review,the beauty artical claiming it's as good as being waxed is totally out of order,no wonder you were disappointed. It is quite clear it is a shaver,nothing more and nothing less,so for what it's claiming to be it meets all expectations.
