Homedics back massager
Very effective massage action. Takes a little getting used to at first in learning how to position your body to receive just the pressure that is right for you. Once that is mastered the unit gives a pleasant and safe massage.
The unit is simple to set up. We have it set up on a standard dining chair. I am quite tall so need to slightly lift the unit before leaning against it to enable the full range of my back to be massaged. Initially i thought this would be a problem but in practice it is no problem at all. The hand control is simple and effective and there is a useful storage pocket for it on the right hand side of the seat. The unit also comes supplied with its own voltage adaptor and plug lead both of which are of good length. Recommended, but beware, all the family love it. I'm sure we get more visitors now...!

Brilliant!
Was slightly sceptical when I bought this, having tried other products and consigned them to the charity shops, along with the bread maker the sandwich toaster and other gadgets. However, this is a very different animal. It actually delivers on the manufacturer's promises, with a robust massage - like someone using their (very strong) thumbs or even knuckles. It's not soothing, but it bashes the hell out of back knots, and the affects are quite remarkable. Have recommended it wholeheartedly to friends and those who have tried our one have made the decision to buy. Depending on the length of your back, you may have to move around a little to get the benefit of the full back massage - or you could opt for the upper back one and when that's finished, change position and enjoy the lower back option. If they ever produce a version with smaller, extra 'thumbs' run across the top of the shoulders and also up the neck, I'll be first in the queue to buy. Oh - and it's dramatically reduced my husband's chronic shoulder pain and manages to deal with my painful lower back muscle spasms before they become a real issue. Can't recommend it highly enough. And no, I don't work for the company!

Love Your Back!
Had one of these for a couple of weeks and I have to say its worked wonders! That knotted tense feeling I used to get in my back after a day spent crouching over a laptop in my office are a distant memory. The cushion does exactly what it says on the tin - and its so much cheaper and easier than visiting a masseuse.

If you buy an SBM200 you wont regret it!
