Very powerful!
Fantastic batteries, that are very powerful. And they come in 2, I never needed 4, it so hard to buy 2 nowadays. And they're SONY of course, quality and durability guaranteed.

The best for Sony cameras
I have had a Sony digital camera for about 4 years. I got about 4 years use out of the original Sony batteries before they started to conk out quickly. They are not dead, it is just that they don't retain charge sufficiently to work the camera. I have retired them to less demanding electronic gadgets like my toothbrush. Now, I have a lot of experience with rechargeable batteries over 15 years. I have used a number of different chargers and brands of rechargeable batteries. Generally I have found Uniross to be pretty poor and most other brands to be pretty good. So, I thought my usual Duracell batteries would work fine in my camera, because they are perfectly good in everything else. Wrong! Then I tried a pair of Ansmanns, followed by some Maplins, Hahnels and a couple of other brands. They are all rated similarly to the Sony at 2000 - 2500 mAh. I also have a pretty good charger with a variety of special functions allowing me to test the recharge rate of batteries. They are all much the same and similar to the Sony ones (except for the Uniross, whihc tend not to be very good). None of them could power my camera for more than 10-20 shots. I even tried some alkaline batteries which also died quickly. So, eventually I bought these Sony batteries and they worked just as well as the originals. Quite why they should be better than equally rated batteries from other makes I don't know, but they are.

In other appliances other than the camera they perform no differently to my other batteries.
