Well worth it
I've just purchased the Ladyshave and I'm very pleased with it. It's very reasonably priced (especially when you consider all the disposable razors you won't have to buy!), it has an attractive design and would go with any bathroom and is simple and easy to use. The fact that it's rechargable is essential for any electric shaver, too: you don't want to have the hassle of refilling gas canisters/batteries all the time.

But, the most important thing: does it give an effective shave? After using it twice (and my boyfriend borrowing it once) I would have to say it does - and I can tell that the more I use it, the better I'll get at angling those awkward places. For me, it worked as effectively as a Venus razor, particularly effective on my legs. The best part about the Ladyshave was how much kinder it was to my skin: no rash (including my bikini line!) even without moisturising.

I definitely recommend this product. I found it to be the best form of hair removal I've tested, beating: creams, disposable razors, DIY wax strips and my boyfriend's Mach 3!

My only advice: be gentle!

Waste Of Money
I have used this product numerous times since recieving it and am not happy with it at all. It has a useful feature of 3 settings for different body areas which are labelled but that is about it. The shave is not close and didn't feel like it had shaved at all as there was a lot of stubble left. Plus it wasn't comfortable at all and had sore legs after using it. Plus it takes 16 hours to fully charge and then you only get 20 minutes use. For the price of it i wasn't expecting it to make me a cup of tea or fly the space shuttle but i was expecting something and for me it didn't deliver. I would avoid this product and look elsewhere.

After putting this away in a drawer with some disgust because i felt like I wasted my money big time. I recently used it again, not sure why really. I thought maybe that I may have been too quick in judging it and decided to give it one more try to see if i could get it to work any better. My opinion of it has increased a tad but not a great deal. It does give you a decent shave eventually but you have to spend about 10 minutes constantly shaving to get that finish. The only way I could use it without it hurting was instead of shaving upwards i shaved downwards and it was quite comfortable. Other than those two issues my quarral about battery life is still the same, plus it is quite noisy. After trying it out again I would say that if you are looking to buy a shaver and haven't got a lot of money to spend on one I would give this a go but if you have more money to spend I would definately say look for a better one.

Totally unfit for purpose
This shaver doesn't work. It gives a minimal trim at best - for all my efforts, I couldn't get my hairs shorter than 3mm with this machine.

Maybe I got a faulty model, who knows. But I certainly won't be recommending this shaver to anyone in a hurry.
