Perfect for who it's aimed at.
I gave this shaver as a birthday present for my 17 year old nephew and he is really pleased with it. I think this model is probably aimed at the younger market as it lacks the power needed for 3 days of rough and greying stubble! However, he has been using it for a couple of weeks now and is really pleased with the results - it includes a trimmer that flips up so you can style beard, sideburns etc - and he loves that bit - very useful. Highly recommended as a first electric shaver for son/nephew etc - and at this kind of price you can't really as for better.

Braun 2776 Alot Better !
Hi All, Well the would like me to leave a review for this item :Braun 2776
The first thing i noticed was the foil is so much better than all of the previous models ofthis type .They call it the smartfoil and i agree its very much like the alot more pricer models for one , then i noticed the motor is quite a bit faster too .I found this out as i have the first Cruzer model and switched both on just to be sure and you can hear the new 2776 runs alot faster giving a better shave and farless razor burn if your one of those people who press very hard to see if they can get every last hair ,weve all done it im sure .This model the Braun 2776 is alot better and great value for money .the only thing it does not have is the middle cutter but funny as it may seem it does a very good job without it .If you have any trouble with any remaining hairs use the trimmer and it cuts them off and then just run the shaver over were you have just been a heh presto sorted ! Im very glad i got this model and it is a vast improvement on the older models of this type .So if you happy to pay so little and are not to bother by the extra few minutes to shave this is a fine piece of equipment .I hope i have helped a little in sharing my experiance with you but i honestly can say this is a very good shaver to have ,it does a good job as its meant to plus its washable and it takes only an hour till full charge ,then it will give you 30 minutes of shaving ,for the price its a bargain .For once Braun have come up trumps with this model and the older models i wish id waited till now ,this model is so much better .Many Thanks for reading this ,i hope ive helped and not bored you too much .Regards Pete

a big disappointment
I bought this razor to replace my trusty Braun 6522 which had givev 5 years solid service (before the rechargable batteries finally gave up the ghost). I have to say that there is no comparison between the 6522 and the cruzer and I am bitterly disappointed with the Cruzer. The basic problem is that the Cruzer just doesn't seem to have the power to get through my stubble in the same way the 6522 did. Also the head of the razor seems to small and too angular resutling in an unsatisfactorily small contact area. I've put the cruzer back in the box and bought some Gillette disposables.
