Poor performer
As epilators go, this one is very poor value for money. Misses far too many hairs and frequently snags skin instead. All very ouch. A cheap epilator I had used for years (can't remember brand name) and which had given great service finally packed up, so I tried the Remington. From the word go the Remington gave a very poor performance (see problems listed above) and completely gave up the ghost altogether four months after purchase. Wasn't going there again. Bought a Phillips Satinelle instead which is proving excellent.

Wasn't looking forward to it
I have a low pain threshold. Very low. I bought this a few months ago, and after charging it, I'd left it in a draw while I 'plucked up' the courage to use it.
Finally, when I did, I was pleasantly surprised. As long as you guide it towards hairs as opposed to just 'dropping it in', you don't really feel anything more than if you're shaving.
Removed the hairs quickly and painlessly.

A good reliable product
Slightly cheaper than some of the other epilators I considered buying, and it's certainly worth the money. It saves time in the long run, and it is not as painful as you may think. What brings it down one star is it can be quite noisy.
