I believe that it is not a pleasant experience to see a person coming out of shower room with cuts and bruises on his face. Unfortunately, I've had to see this daily up until I recently presented my husband with MSS. I used to see my husband struggling with his outrageous razor to achieve smooth and close shave. How can you avoid cuts and bruises on most difficult contours of your face while working with a stiff straight tool? Huh….. This thought took me to MSS when I was searching something meaningful for my husband as our First anniversary present.I was quite excited for the gift I got for him so when he tried MSS for the first time I enjoyed the experience the same way he did. He just filled the Nivea fluid in his shaver and it was ready to start with. No need of brushing the face thoroughly with shaving foam and wait for the stiff beard to become soft. The movement of the MSS was amazing; it seemed like shaver was smoothly massaging his face. Nivea fluid gave the finest lubrication and pivot movements were submissively following the contours of the face. I could undoubtedly see the WOW!!! Expression on my husband’s face…. The grip on shaver was so perfect and its "JUST RIGHT" shape gives full control to handle it with ease. I could well imagine how electrified was my husband with this unique gizmo that he eagerly explained me what is so unique about this shaver…..The shaver head has 2 pivot actions, not only the head itself moves and follows the contours of the face but also the 3 Flex Tracker automatically tracks the curves of the face and protect against skin irritation…. I am really happy that I had spent my time and energy to find something that can actually make a difference. No More irritation

I have very sensative skin. So much so that i could only wet shave every third day. I received this razor and shaved every day for 10 days straight! With my coarse hair, it struggles with 2-3 days growth but this can be shaved back with a wet razor then finished to smooth with the Philips.

As with any electric razor, you need to give your face a fortnight to get used to it as stated in the leaflet. After that it's great.

A little tip here. As i'm an engineer, i like to take things apart and with the lotion pump dispenser, this is a god-send. If you are careful, you can pull the top off the pump and re-fill it with ANY MOISTURISER YOU LIKE. As long as it is runny enough for the razor to cope with. So you can buy the bottles of aftershave balm and refill your dispenser on the cheap(ish).

It's about value for money people!
Rather than go through other people's reviews and knock them down I'll just tell you my point of view and let you make up your own mind.

In terms of value for money I think it's easily 5 stars. I've had no problems with razor burn or lotion mixing with stubble or the heads seizing up. It's not as good as a wet shave, but what electric shaver at this price will be!?!

The shave is really close although sometimes you have to go over certain areas more than once to get it to shave as close as I'd like but that's not a problem. The lotion works really well and leaves me smelling great as well as feeling soft and smooth. One reviewer said he preferred it to wet shaving and I'd have to agree. One word of warning though. It doesn't cope too well if you leave your stubble for 3-4 days then try to shave it all off. The heads are also a little flimsy, but then you have to expect that when you're buying a product that has a head that contours to your face as much as this does. So if you're a butterfingers, be warned!

All in all I think it's a great shaver. Other reviewers have had some problems, all I can say is that I haven't had a single problem with mine and I love it. Would highly recommend. Great value for money.

I love it - Almost as much as I hate shaving
I hate shaving and I'm new to Electric Shavers. Foil Shavers did not work for me as I prefer a REALLY close shave - no stubble. So I have used Gillette Sensor+ razors for years - shaving against the growth.
Then I saw the Coolskin HS8020 Rotary Shaver and decided to take the plunge. I'm impressed!Shaving is almost fun now even 3 months after the novelty has worn off. It takes a little longer for a really close shave, but it gets there. The Moisturiser works a treat AND I found I could use it with shaving gel as well. It's light, very handy and the 3 flexi head system really is great. So it takes a little longer to get a really close shave, but I don't have skin irritation any more from shaving my face off.
I have to give this shaver 4 stars until I find a better one... But that will be a while yet because I am very happy with this purchase. As for being fragile... maybe, but I can't see any other shaver this handy, taking kindly to a fall
