Brilliant little indestructalbe things.5
We bought a load of these radios for use at work. They're quite tough and can handle being dropped down stairs and getting bashed off walls and beds and being dropped in the occasional mop bucket hasn't seem to have done them any harm. We've had them for a few months and they still look good as new despite the abuse they get. They are really simple to use, only taking out staff a few seconds to work it out. The have a good range on them and we've hand conversations going from the basement to the roof of the 4 story stone building we work in...we thought that was impressive. The only problem we've had with them is that the unless your really careful, it's easy to drop them as the clips aren't that secure, but they don't get damaged very easily so that fine.

Reading you loud and clear.....5
Having had lots of problems with wireless routers and Broadband not really working through thick Cotswold stone walls, I was a little sceptical about the chances of a 20 quid pair of walkie talkies working any better, but decided that at the price they were worth a punt.

WOW, was I wrong. They are outstanding. Through walls and to the bottom of the garden and back, these beauties are perfect for calling the little terrors in for their tea without having to devote half an hour to searching every nook and cranny for them.

I've only used one channel so far, as that one has worked perfectly - there's no background noise, it's as clear as a bell and plenty loud enough. Much more compact than I thought they would be, but none the worse for that and still very solidly put together. They also come with a belt attachment and of course the big hook at the top for hanging up and forgetting about them until they spark into life with an incoming call. I can't speak for the range much beyond 20 metres either at the moment, but what I have experienced so far is £20 very well spent.

great radios5
I bought these for camping and I cannot complain at all, smaller than I expected and very tough. They hold a signal well and suit me fine although an illuminated screen and rechargable battery would be welcome but at this price how can I complain!
