Guitar RockStar is the latest must-have gadget for all ages – no musical ability required! Guitar RockStar is a battery operated guitar headstock with an infrared beam at the bottom. Select a mode/song and use your hand/leg/anything else to strum through the guitar part of the song. Rock out to your favourite rock tunes in freeplay mode using the chords and chord enhancers, or play the guitar section to any of the 8 pre-programmed songs that come with the guitar.

Guitar RockStar doesn’t need any other software to run. Air guitar
fun, educational and pretty damn easy to use. it takes some getting used to but you get the hang in no time really. one bad thing is...you get through batteries like no tomorrow because of how much you wanna play it :) overall 4* gift or general big boys toy. the lads love it lol thumbs up

Fun and not as silly as it sounds
This seemed like a bit of fun, and worth a few quid. And it is. I had a laugh trying to get the hang of it and was surprised that with a bit of extra time you can actually start to get quite good at it.

You literally strum the imaginary strings, by breaking the infrared beam. This is the difficult bit and at first I kept strumming by mistake but with careful timing and careful aiming I got quicker and more accurate in a couple of minutes.

There are songs to play along to, in a hilarious old-school beepy tone. Or you can play it 'unplugged', as it were - just jamming away to your heart's content. There's a little chart in the instructions that tells you how to play different chords.

Good fun and I'm looking forward to getting it out next time we have friends round, particularly if I can persuade someone else to buy one so we can jam together.

Great fun, both my husband and 8 yr old son, love it!!
Excellent value for money. Good quality product,would recommend. The novelety wore off after a week or so, but I am sure it will be used again!
