i absolutly love poker and this game is ok. you start off with £1000 but the games makes excuses for you when you lose all your money e.g you have one a beauty contest. but apart from this it is a good game and is worth buying. 76/100

Great fun but unreliable software
I'm new to poker and really enjoyed playing this game in career mode. You get to experience lots of different types of poker game; hold 'em, omaha hi/8, 7-card stud etc, and play the one you like. You can easily play this for hours on end.
The only problem I've had with it (and it's a major one) is that when you finally get good enough to get down to the last table in a major tournament, it lets you play a few hands and then crashes. Quite a major bug. This has happened to me 4 times and it just becomes so frustrating. I replaced the disc for a new one and had exactly the same problem. I've learnt a lot from the game but am now so frustrated with it crashing that I'm looking for something more reliable.
