Worst Ever Sound
Don't buy! This TV has the worst sound quality I've ever heard. Picture quality isn't that good either. No headphones socket so you can't fit external speakers. Steer clear

Poor sound. disappointed
Unlike the others, I don't find the sound acceptable. I'm on the verge of buying another one just because of it. Considering how much you are paying, I think the cheap speakers they've built in are really insulting. I'm not a demanding hifi buff or anything, but it is like watching some tinny cheap rubbish. And why in this day and age did they not make the telly compatible with Sky remote control??
Very disappointed.

Actually the sound can be set
So I read the reviews on amazon, about this being a second tv, and the varied opinions on the sound. Took a chance and bought it, the sound isn't too great. But then when watching a dvd i pressed the wrong button (had the remote upside down) and chanced upon 4th row from bottom of remote, left hand side "setup tv/text".
This resulted in a new menu coming up, pressed down a few times, and could change the sound from mono to stereo. Sound is much better now.
The TV itself has an adequate picture, and a nice flat screen and isn't too heavy.
For the price you can't go wrong.
