Quite what this book is doing on Amazon UK i don't know ! It is an American book with US $ prices and a strong leaning to American gold coins. Very little that i could find on UK sovereigns and what there is is tucked away in the "rest of the world" section. Even the price on the back is in US $ and Canadian $ so i doubt it was ever intended for the UK market anyway. It is little more than a price list which was out of date the day it was printed as gold prices fluctuate. As an example i looked at a sovereign for sale i picked at random on e-bay. I never did find it in the book but I expect it is there somewhere. It gives an average price of about $170 for a modern sovereign (2007 prices). The price at the time of writing this ( 2008 prices) was nearer $400 !
I give it one star on the off chance you might actually want out of date US prices.
