This is Lucy's story. It is written for children to read and understand, but deals with what would first appear to be an adult issue: the death of Lucy's baby brother Tom, aged just one day. Simply worded the story deals openly with the issues. The line drawings are readily understandable for young children but are honest enough not to patronise adults. The drawings are the first published work by John Farrell, a talented and sensitive young artist. Recommended to bereaved parents and all those involved with pregnancy and childbirth.
