Product Description

Poorly presented proposals and manuscripts are the hallmarks of amateur writers. When a writer knows the key to impressing editors, agents and publishers with his or her first attempt, doors open and being published becomes a reality. 'The ABC Checklist for New Writers' is written with all budding writers in mind, to help them present works that end up in the shortlist, not the shredder. Information is presented in a concise A - Z format, and unfamiliar terms are explained, taking the novice through each step in the submission process. Suitable for writers of both fiction and non-fiction aiming to be published in magazines, radio, television, e-books or mainstream publishing, 'The ABC Checklist for New Writers' is an indispensable reference for the budding writer.

A really useful book5
This is a great book with lots of good advice on presentation and how to format for radio and TV as well as for magazines and preparing a book synopsis. Also there's good, and easy to follow, tips on grammar. I'd recommend this book to anyone who'd like to see their work published.

Practical, Informative and a useful reference resource5
The ABC Checklist for New Writers is an immensely practical book. The alphabetical structure means that it's easy to find the answers to the questions you are looking for. I would recommend reading it from cover to cover first, and then have it to hand on your writing desk for you to refer back to as and when you need to.

Great for new writers!5
The ABC Checklist for New Writers is one of the most useful writers' guides I've come across. It's full of all sorts of tricks of the trade and answers the questions every writer needs to know. Highly recommended.
