Author's comments
The authors, Phil and I, would highly recommend this unique, user friendly and practical book for anyone helping others to change. The website which accompanies it means you can print off as many times as you like ,on whatever colour paper suits you,the wide range of thought and change provoking exercises . We hope you enjoy using it as much as we enjoyed writing it and look forward to seeing some of you on the training which accompanies the book.
Brilliant book and very useful...
I'm a coach who often works with under-achieving and de-motivated youngsters, so read the editorial about this book and thought it might be useful.
The simplistic drawings and airy layout give the impression that it's going to be a bit basic, but that's definitely not the case. When you start reading it you realise it's written by someone who really knows their stuff. The chapter subjects are well chosen and there is much useful practical information such as the kind of questions to ask etc.
It also has quite a few worksheets that you can try your new skills out on, which have also have suggested solutions. I personally find this very helpful, as those that just leave you wondering if you got it or not don't do it for me!
Probably one of the best coaching books in my (fairly wide) collection, and I suspect will become one of the most used too. Highly recommended.
